Cia Quase Cinema's mission is to promote, produce and research shadow theater, this has been our path since its foundation. Since 2014, we have been working to bring together national and foreign groups in an exchange of ideas, practices and dialogues about the contemporary production of shadow theater.
 

The FIS - International Festival of Shadow Theater is a realization, creation and production of Cia. It is an annual event that has been held since 2014 in the interior of the state of São Paulo with a focus on rural areas. Its objective is the exchange of experience and sociocultural exchange between artists and the local population . In recent years it has received 39 companhias, 18 from abroad and 21 from Brazil. It includes an average audience of 1500 spectators per edition, including artistic residency, seminars, courses and performances. All events are free. We had support from the government of the state of São Paulo through PROAC (Culture Incentive Program of the State Department of Culture), CAIXA CULTURAL (Culture Incentive Program of Caixa Econômica Federal), SESC and City Hall of the cities that host the festival .
